They are a Christmas gift for my grandchildren. I read first chapter before I wrapped them. I know she is going to love them.

Grandson enjoyed these books

My grandson just turned 13. Reading is not a strength (yet). This is his first year of being home schooled (7th grade). My daughter and he just completed the Millie Maven series together. Last night he Face Timed me (I’m on vacation in Florida). He told me all about the stories and characters. He understood the connection to the gospel. I was so surprised at how much he retained and comprehended. He said his reading is improving. I am thrilled that he enjoyed the series. My prayer is that Ted’s books will open his creative mind and bring him closer to the Lord as the books reinforce the gospel message. We talked about the benefits of written stories compared to a movie version. I told him fiction books allow us to use our own imagination because we get to imagine how the characters might look. I have read 4 of Ted’s books and I absolutely love them. Next week my grandson will begin reading the 4 book series Dream Travelers Quest . How cool it is to have the flexibility of us choosing books as part of his education curriculum.
