Introducing Millie Maven, the all-new young reader series from New York Times bestselling author Ted Dekker and his daughter, Christy-award winner, Rachelle Dekker.

Enter the world of Millie Maven, a twelve-year-old orphan who embarks on a great adventure that takes her to the distant, mysterious world of FIGS, the FarPointe Institute for Gifted Students. There, she discovers that there is more to her than she ever dared imagine or believe . . . and that there are some truths that change everything.

Overview:

Book 1 - The Bronze Medallion (Paperback, 214 pages)

Millie Maven, a fearful orphan girl who lives with her strict, evil aunt is trapped in a life of cruel punishment without any friends. So on the night of her twelfth birthday, when old Aggie of the woods invites her to take a journey that can change her life forever, Millie knows she has to go. Unsure but desperate, Millie embarks on a great adventure that takes her to the distant, mysterious world of FIGS, the FarPointe Institute for Gifted Students, where she might discover her true value through gifts that defy belief.

Book 2 -The Golden Vial (Paperback, 214 pages)

The quest continues as Millie must cross the Shadowlands to retrieve the Golden Vial. Faced with a dangerous fog that seems to change people, a ticking clock, and the voice of Millie’s deepest fears calling to her, can she still manage to hear the voice of truth? Can she unite them all through love, or will she get lost in the fog and lose everything?

Book 3 - The White Sword (Paperback, 176 pages)

In this epic conclusion, Millie must face her greatest challenge if she is to discover the greatest truth, one that can save everything and everyone she cares about. But in order to do so, she will have to sacrifice everything. Is she strong enough to do what is being asked? Because if she can’t, Millie and F.I.G.S. will be lost forever.

9 year old son loves them

Our 9 year old son has raced through the first two books. I love hearing him retell us the story of what’s happening with Millie.

I bought them for my 12 year old granddaughter, who loves them. I'm surprising her with them for her birthday.

Just received the three books and I ordered them for my granddaughter. She seemed to really like them.I picked it up when she laid it down and now I’m hooked can’t wait to see where Millie ends up.Her supposedly mother seems like a wicked mean woman hopefully her real

Daughter loves the books, however one fell apart

I bought this series for my daughter's 10th birthday. She loves the books, finished the first one in two days. However, a section of the pages fell out of the book from the spine!

Excellent!

Just like all the other Ted Dekker youth books (yes, we have all of them), the Millie Maven series is excellent, poignant, and what we (adults and youth) need in our society, with plot twists that I didn't see coming (that doesn't happen often for me). I wholeheartedly recommend these books to anyone and everyone who didn't or doesn't have a perfect childhood (and I think that's everyone).
