Kara Dekker is the daughter of New York Times best selling author Ted Dekker. Preschool teacher by day and writer by night, she is passionate about kids and the worlds they create.

The Dream Traveler's Quest is her debut young reader's series. She is excited to begin her writing career by collaborating with her father and sharing in the world he created over a decade ago with The Circle Series. Kara lives in Nashville, Tennessee with her husband and two furball cats!

Great series for a 13 yr old

My 13-year-old received these for Christmas from his grandmother. She loves to buy him books for Christmas, especially ones with a Christian theme. She bought him the Narnia series a couple of years ago and was glad to find Quest because it sounded like a new modern version of the Narnia series. She was spot on, he loved reading all four books. I can absolutely confirm that it’s a great series for a 13-year-old.

My grandson,8, and I have read book 1 in the series. It was great! We read it in 2 days! We have 1-4 in the series. I will be ordering 5-7 this week! He loved the adventure and the characters kept him wanting to know more! The biblical connections were easy to understand, without being overwhelming!! Can't wait to read more!!
