Kara Dekker is the daughter of New York Times best selling author Ted Dekker. Preschool teacher by day and writer by night, she is passionate about kids and the worlds they create.

The Dream Traveler's Quest is her debut young reader's series. She is excited to begin her writing career by collaborating with her father and sharing in the world he created over a decade ago with The Circle Series. Kara lives in Nashville, Tennessee with her husband and two furball cats!

Bought for granddaughters for Christmas! (and me!)

This series is so good. I starting reading and wanted to finish before I gifted the books to m granddaughters age 10 and 12. Couldn’t put them down! Its a little like a Harry Potter adventure with the goodness of seeing the light and love of God. Liked it so much I just bought the follow up" Game” series. Thank you!

Dream Travelers Quest 1-4 and The Game 6-7

These writings compelled me to read deep into the night hours. I bought then for my grandchildren who live in Türkiye, and wanted to know what I was sending them. Come to find out that the government does not allow items over a designated amount to be delivered. So these books would be returned to me. Now I am searching for a family to gift them to in the USA or try to send them with friends who will be visiting Türkiye in the future.

Living in a virtual world is an interesting concept for a book.
