The Boy Who Fell From the Stars

I bought this set for my grandson's ninth birthday and read the first book before giving it to him. I'm a retired teacher (2nd grade and kindergarten) and I'll be honest - the story is interesting, but I don't feel it is age-appropriate for 9 years old. So many children these days are dealing with anxiety (including my grandson), and I think this story line would be anxiety-producing. I would label it for 12 and up. I've chosen a different gift for my grandson and will save these books for when he is older.
